Ketchikan

The day turned out to not rain.  We were expecting it to but the skies held up.  We shopped in port as this was our only day that we thought we might be able to shop.

It is a small town that reminds me of being in the mountains.  Huh we are in the mountains.  The evergreens come right up to the shoreline.  It is colder than it was in Vancouver and we are staying in the cabin more.  We went to the Barb-que and then realized that was a mistake.  It consisted of two tastless salads and clamari meatballs, salmon and little shrimp skewers.  Other than corn on the cob that was it.  If you wanted anything to drink you had to go downstairs to get your water.  No one was really there so it was obvious that it was too cold or the lack of a good menu kept people away.

We tried Sabatinis for breakfast and we were too early so they were closed.  Ended up in dining room.

Joe did a first was up by 5:30 and in the dining room at 6:30 AM to eat.  Anyone that knows him that was new for him!
